The book was about a group of teenagers who were taken to aplace with alot of stairs and they were in a mind control experiment, they got food or treats for doing things when the lights would change to different colors. I can't remember any of their names and I probably read it in the early to mid 70's.

Do you realise this book has programmed people to recognise and identify it without even having read it?
Spooky!

Worked for me. Is it subliminally influencing us all to read it?

I read it because it comes up so often here. It's certainly memorable, I'd recommend it.

Thanks for the recommendation, I will certainly get to it. My to-read list is very long thanks to this site! Have you read "Interstellar Pig"? If so, what do you think of it?

sorry, no, haven't read it. You could ask on the community forum children's lit thread, someone there is bound to have read it.
