I'm looking for a book (love story) set in modern Israel with characters, American woman named Meridith and Israeli/Jewish man Aric. Aric is in the Israeli military and is killed at the story's end. "Aliyah" might be in the title?? Can't remember title or author.

Aliya: A Love Story: Segal, Brenda Lesley

"This lovely hard cover book, 244 pages long, is in very good condition, with light shelf wear, light bumping to the spine ends and cover corners, light page edge soiling. The pages are tight, bright and clean. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with moderate shelf wear, light bumping and chipping to the cover edges, light surface scuffing and soiling. "They met in Israel: Meri, a cool, lovely blonde from Philadelphia's Main Line, and Arik, a brash, young Israeli commando with tanned skin, tawny hair, and dazzling green eyes. But it was too harsh, too strange, too dangerous. Terrorists ripped their world apart, and Meri ran away; she resolved to forget about Israel, until the New Year's Eve when she met Arik again in New York . A captivating story for lovers of all ages."
