I read this book when I was a kid, got it from the teenage section of my local library (about 10 years ago now). It's basically told from the point of view of two people, diary style, with each chapter alternating between the two stories. It's main character is female (I think the other character is female too). They live together in a large house that has a lake / pool in the back garden. The female dreams of diving into it, and I'm pretty sure she has some sort of disability with her legs, she may be in a wheelchair. Also, I seem to remember it may have been post-apocalyptic. I'm sure they only became friends because they were the ony people left on earth...

Sorry for being so vague, any help would be appreciated.

Don't worry, we've helped people who can remember a lot less than that!

If you don't get any response, try re-posting on the US side (log in to the UK side first, then click on the Booksleuth Forum under AbeBooks.com on the right of your screen.) Far more people go there. Try a title for the thread that may jog memories, and perhaps post under Children's, as that's where most of the tenage fiction queries are. Good luck!
