In 2005 or 2006 the Daily Mail or Mail on Sunday had a book offer which gave you a list of stories all placed during the war. I order several but they have been misplaced during a move. Can anyone remember the publisher. I have tried the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday but they were not able to help.
Included was one which was made into a film I think it was called Sophia Choice

The film was called Sophie's Choice, with the wonderful Meryl Streep, but I can't help you with the rest of your query. However if you want suggestions about books set during WWII, just say, and you'll be swamped immediately!
